Mariani Nut Company is a Global Food Safety Initiative Certified Facility (GFSI) with an “AA” Rating from the British Retail Consortium (BRC).

The BRC food safety program is the global standard for technical protocols among food suppliers. Their comprehensive food safety audits evaluate companies at all levels, from receiving to processing and packaging. Audits cover seven categories with intentional overlap to ensure thorough oversight. While Mariani has always prioritized the safety and quality of its products, undergoing regular BRC audits demonstrates our unwavering commitment to meeting the highest standards to our customers. Our senior management team champions this process and continuous improvement.

Mariani meets all USDA and FDA requirements and is committed to quality assurance and safety. We retain a dedicated manager to oversee audits, documentation, and employee training. Additionally, numerous supervisors focus on sanitation, pest control, and security. These responsibilities are carefully coordinated, with team members communicating across departments and operations.

Numerous steps are taken to prevent cross-contamination and control allergens; no peanuts are processed in our facilities.
