Cinnamon Sugar Roasted Almonds
INGREDIENTS
4 cups Mariani Whole Almonds
1 egg white + 1 tsp water, whisked together
1 cup white sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1 tablespoon cinnamon
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees and spray a baking sheet pan with nonstick spray.
Add 4 cups of almonds to a large bowl.
In a small bowl, whisk together an egg white and 1 tsp water until frothy.
Pour the egg white and water over the almonds and stir to coat the nuts.
In a medium size bowl, mix together the sugar, salt and cinnamon.
Pour the sugar mixture over the nuts and stir to coat.
Spread the nuts on the baking sheet pan.
Place the pan in the oven and roast for 15 minutes.
At the 15 minute mark, use a spatula to turn the nuts over.
Roast for 15 more minutes, then turn the nuts again.
Roast for 10 minutes then remove from the oven and pour the almonds into a glass bowl to cool.
