Lemon Broccoli With Tahini Sauce and Slivered Almonds
 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound broccoli, cut into florets

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice, divided

  • ¼ cup tahini

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • ¼ cup water

  • ¼ cup Mariani Slivered Almonds


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 375℉ and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss together the broccoli, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread onto the baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.

  3. Make tahini sauce. Add the tahini, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, garlic, water, and salt to a bowl. Mix until combined in a smooth sauce.

  4. Bring a small skillet to medium heat. Add the almonds and stir over heat for 3-4 minutes, until lightly toasted.

  5. When the broccoli is out of the oven, add it back to the mixing bowl. Add the remaining tablespoon of lemon juice and toss to coat.

  6. Transfer the broccoli to a serving dish. Drizzle on the tahini sauce and sprinkle the toasted almonds on top.
