Pear Gorgonzola Salad
 

INGREDIENTS

For the salad

  • 4 cups salad greens

  • 1 large pear, thinly sliced

  • ¼ cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese

  • ¼ cup Mariani Chopped Walnuts

  • Optional: 3 tablespoons pomegranate seeds

For the dressing

  • ¼ cup olive oil

  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  • Salt and pepper, to taste


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add the salad greens, pear, gorgonzola cheese, and walnuts to a large bowl and toss to combine.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, mustard, salt and pepper.

  3. Pour the dressing over the salad. Toss to coat. Sprinkle pomegranate seeds on top if using.
