Fig, Goat Cheese, and Almond Crostinis
INGREDIENTS
1 baguette
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 oz. goat cheese, at room temperature
8-10 fresh figs, sliced
2 tablespoons Mariani Sliced Almonds
2 tablespoons honey
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut 8-10 slices from the baguette, each about 1 inch thick.
Bring a large skillet to medium heat. Brush each baguette slice with olive oil on both sides. Place the baguette slices in the skillet and toast on each side for 2-3 minutes, until they begin the brown. Remove from heat
Spread a thin layer of goat cheese on each baguette slice. Top with some slices of fresh fig, a sprinkle of sliced almonds, and a drizzle of honey.
